Good product. Fit our needs.I am an electrician and need more from a hacksaw than some.*I wanted blade storage but this one is cheaply made. There is a little black "snap" cover at the top of the handle. It's made of plastic and has a little spring to keep it open once it's snapped open. It opens easily by accident and although I haven't broke it yet it is pretty flimsy.*The tensioner also seems fairly flimsy. I carry this on my tool bag which is pretty heavy and gets tossed around in the bed of trucks, banged on in gang boxes, whatever. I could see the little "thumbscrew" breaking. I have seen other saws of this design that have broke but ordered this one in the hopes that it was beefier but it's not.*Lastly it's made in China, some Greenlee is made in USA but not this.These blades work great for cutting EMT steel conduit. They cut through conduit smoothly and efficiently.Greenlee Hacksaw is really well-built and heavy duty.This should hold up well for years to come.Highly Recommended!!gioodcqualityThe package arrived at the time the man of the house was about to cut baseboard with an old piece of junk. It cuts like butter. The construction is much better than expected.Good, solid grip.Very well made.Great saw, you feel the quality as soon as you pick it up.I needed to purchase hacksaw blades and I searched online and I found these. They work great. I like the fine tooth. I will surely purchase more in the future.Excellent saw. Rubber grips at both ends might lead to blisters with dozens/hundreds of cuts in a short period, but are comfortable for intermittent use.Couldn’t take advantage of the ‘blade storage’ aspect, as the screws (1/2” x 10-32) used to hold the ends onto the tube spanned the interior cavity. Swapped them out for two 1/4” 10-32’s, problem solved.A blade lasted about 30 or 40 minutes cutting 1/8" cpm154, and especially when it was fresh, cut extremely well. I'm not sure exactly what I should expect from these when cutting material like that. I assume this was good performance, being a 5 pack, it worked well for me. Might compare against other brands next time, but it was goodAlthough this is a very good product and well made it didn't fully describe it's use.It didn't explain that it required a different type of blade for the end of the saw.You certainly can't go wrong on the price, especially for something that isn't madeoverseas.Great product by Greenlee as always. Solidly constructed, a great price and arrived early. Would recommend!I would recommend this hacksaw to anyone planning on purchasing a hacksaw. It is very sturdy, it cuts conduit pipe and EMT pipe with ease and all the cuts are straight.
