I have a pot-problem. I've owned and used woks daily. Here's my assessment: The workmanship is exquisite. It has a deluxe, hand-crafted feel. If your cooking style is to stir fry, this is perfect. It has a nice thickness and is very steady on my stove. If you like to toss and flip, this is probably not for you as it's heavy. Mine weights 4.5 lbs. But what a Smooth Operator...the surface is like butta'.Seasoning was easy. It turned a beautiful blue and I oiled it right away. The outside arrived a little rusty, but I was able to scrub it and protect it with oil while seasoning. Performance is excellent with great heat retention. Food browning is perfect. This bowl shape really hits a sweet-spot -i t's pure joy to stir food in! Because it has a wider surface area, this 13.5" wok holds as much food as my regular 14.5" wok. If you admire beautiful and well made objects, this one's for you. It classes up the joint. But beware if this is your first wok...it will ruin all other woks for you!A special shout-out to Sunny. My box got damaged during shipping. The handle (which was pre-attached to the wok) also arrived damaged. Sunny was super quick to respond and sent me a replacement in one day. Great customer service.
