?【Purely Hand-Hammered】 The Carbon iron wok made by touch-made is to put the iron plate into the burning coke oven with coal as the raw material. to make. Due to the time-consuming and labor-intensive production process, there are very few handmade iron wok like this.So it more durable than the coated pan.
?【Warm Reminder】 All the iron pots will be shipped after the pot is boiled. During the boiling process, the inner part of the pot turns yellow-black or forms spots, lumps and other textures, which are temporary conditions caused by uneven heating when the pot is boiled. It is non-toxic. It is a normal phenomenon, not a quality problem. After a period of use, the color of the pot body will gradually darken and turn black as a whole, and this phenomenon will gradually reduce until it disappears.

As of today, it's priced at $55. I'd say it's a good deal comparing to the $20 to$30 range carbon steel wok, you get much more for extra $20. This wok is one piece of carbon steel, no rivets, and a silicon sleeve for the handle. The wok body has hammer marks, not sure by machine or human. These are signs of durability. There are few rough edges on the lip, but that can be an easily fix with a metal file. I'd say these woks are same quality as those listed here on amazon for $200~$300. Carbon steel is carbon steel, there are no magic to it. The one cost so much more because it took advantage of a culinary documentary that aired few years ago. In that series, a black smith was interviewed in wok making. He then became famous over night in China, sending the price of his woks skyrocketing. Guys, don't pay over $80 for a wok. The mark ups are not going to the black smith anyway. And finally, please please ignore those complaining rust on carbon steel or cast iron cookware. Those people know nothing about cookware, buy an expensive cookware and expect magic happens. Carbon steel and cast iron cookware, all of them, I don't care if you pay $300 for it, it will rust if you mistreat them. Rust is never a legit complaint of the quality of a cookware. Please look up season methods. Carbon steel and cast iron require different procedures. The item doesn’t look like hand crafted as video showed. And it has a weird machine oil smell.
