Trangia 8-Inch Aluminum Plate (20 cm) - Lightweight & Durable Camping Cookware for Backpacking, Hiking & Outdoor Adventures

Not sure why this plate was damaged with blemishes and scratches, as if, it was stepped on.I am a fan of Trangia products and bought two of the plates for use with my Trangia 25 and 27 cook kits. Strong and lightweight, perfect for backpacking and everyday use at the cabin in the woods. I would buy again.Perfect for completing my Trangia winter attachment. Ordered a second one incase I decided to to use them as eating plates instead.These plates fit nicely in our Trangia stove sack nested on the bottom of the stove/cookset. Lightweight, sturdy, and deep. Even though it's only 8 inches wide, the high sides mean you can fit a big dinner plate's worth of food in these to feed a hungry backpacker. Glad we chose these instead of the gaudy polycarbonate plates. Keep in mind that sharp steel knives will scratch the softer aluminum, but that's not a problem with Lexan serrated knives.I like the plate because they are lite enough to pack into the trangia set but are sturdy enough to endure a campsite meal with easy cleanupMade in Sweden! A lot thicker than I'd expected. Perfect. Wasn't sure what to expect but sounded like Trangia was a decent brand. Just what I'd hoped for. Happy they aren't super thin like the titanium snow peak bowl I'd purchased recently.I used this plate on a 14 day backpacking adventure and was horrified to see that the plate flaked off metal dust. I was forced to continue to use it as it was the only plate I had, however, I am concerned for what I ingested during my excursion. Immediately upon my return I disposed of the plate because the return window had closed. Don’t make the same mistake I did!Good plate. Very sturdy.Will become discolored when run through the dishwasher. But it hardly matters.Exactly as described. I bought two, and they nest perfectly on the bottom of the nested Trangia 25 cookset, all strapped in and no rattling. Additional weight is negligible and the surface stands up to utensils & cleaning well.One potential note of caution, once packed the additional height makes packing the entire unit in the separately available 4.5l Billy can more of a challenge.Great genuine Trangia plates.Bought three of these and the fit under the 25 frying pan lid for nice tidy storage.small aluminium plate / shallow bowl. I think it's designed to nest under the Trangia 25 (the bigger trangia). I have the smaller 27 - this sits well enough under the cooker in it's bag, but it a bit of a squeeze to get into the bag and doesn't "nest" as well as it could as it's a centimetre or two too big.Very light, good size, stacks together tightly and fits on the bottom of the Trangia 25 kit neatly.Good price, nice small size (keep most of dinner in pot & serve as required to save going cold in a large plate) fits perfectly under 25 series cooker & strap goes around it. I bought 2 & strap keeps both in place. Well impressed.
