I am an admitted kitchen gadget geek. I love this for so many things. The adjustable temperature feature is something I use constantly, for making infusions, flavored olive oils, butters. Then there is the mid range, crock pot settings that I do not use often. The pressure cooker function is quite good, and is SO much safer that the stove top units of the past. The safeties give much peace of mind.I've heard that it can be used for homemade yogurt, but I'm not a fan of the stuff.
