A little disappointed considering it costs more than other budget boards available. Arrived slightly damaged, but that's on UPS. Calling it a "cork" board is generous as the cork portion of the board is ultra thin, almost like it's been sprayed on. The cardboard backing is most all of the thickness of the board and does all of the work. There are bend out metal strips from the frame on one of the long sides to hang it with. Didn't help me since I needed to hang it with the long side vertically. Doesn't come with any hardware and I had to improvise in hanging it since I needed to mount it to a wall using anchors and screws. Needed to drill holes into the frame since none are provided like many of the other boards for sale.Nothing fancy, just what we needed. After reading reviews of other lower cost boards, I decided to spend the extra couple bucks (very good value on Amazon, thanks - beat Staples!) on this one - especially after reading the reviews about how others cracked & fell apart. We've now had this for over a month now & I'd buy it again if I need another one. The metal frame has held up & looks like it will continue to do so. We're light duty - in a clubhouse of a very small community. The cork is heavy enough that I expect to get years of our level of use out of it. Easy to install and enough room to easily post notices, etc.This is a bit flimsy, and as such it arrived with a bit of a curve and a light crack visible from the back, and it also had a musty smell, as if the warehouse was in a basement. However, once it was secured to the wall it stayed flat and the smell dissipated after a couple days. It's been hanging on my wall holding national park map and working well.This cork board is just the right size for my home office. It came with three mounting screws and three drywall anchors. A paper template is also provided that will allow for easy wall mounting. However, the aluminum frame is quite flimsy and bends easily in your hands. My frame arrived bent in several planes. I was able to bend most of the distortions out, but if you are a stickler for perfect lines; it still looks crooked. All in all, it was the cheapest 4x3 cork board I could find and it works for me.This is the only review I have ever posted on Amazon. This board is TERRIBLE QUALITY! DO NOT ORDER. It arrived warped and the board was cracked down the middle, thank goodness I was able to get a credit for it. It cost me nearly 70 dollars and I receive this cheaply made item?! This is ridiculous, I'd be better off going to goodwill to see what secondhand items they have. The board of cork is extremely thin, frame flimsy, don't waste your money on this, if it arrived broken for me, it will probably arrive broken for you.We keep track every where we travel with pins and also track all the Nascar Races, Go Chase Elliotit came with a small damaged spot in the middle but we had to have it so we kept it .This isn't a high quality, pretty cork board but then I knew that was what I was getting - a functional board. It came in good shape and does the job for the price.
