The Polar ICE Pitcher is made from the new Eastman Tritan copolyester known for its durability & clarity, it has an Aluminum Polar ICE Chamber (not a plastic ice chamber like most competitors) the Aluminum has a superior ability to transfer the cold from the ice to your chilled beverage without dilution from the ice. Just fill the ice chamber from the bottom and you are set, your beverage will stay much colder for much longer. The Polar ICE Pitcher is approximately 8 1/2" Tall and holds up to 60 ounces of chilled beverage + additional 12 ounces of ice in the separate Polar ICE Chamber. The lids are sold separately since most bars & restaurants serve draft beer in these and do not need the lids. Just check our Amazon store for lids, extra caps, etc...

We really like this plastic pitcher because it keeps the beer colder longer. We have a kegerator so instead of having to get up to pour a beer all the time, we fill the pitcher and bring it to wherever we're sitting (inside or outside). This pitcher has a bottom cap that opens to the aluminum tube where you fill with ice cubes. It is not removable, so just add ice cubes to it, screw the cap back on and fill it with beer. The aluminum tube gets very cold so it definitely transfers the cold to your beverage to make it cooler and keeps it cooler than just a regular pitcher. We've had this for 1 month now and have used it a LOT; its held up great. We do hand wash it. I'm not sure it they sell a blue color or not; I ordered the blue one, but received a clear one. It seems to be a pretty thick, durable plastic and its nice and clear and not dull like some plastic. I didn't notify them because the clear is just fine and the beer tastes the same. We also didn't purchase the lid; the beer goes so fast, we don't need any type of lid. Plus, it pours very easily. I would recommend this.
